I just did something I never do – listen to the Sunday sermon twice! Katie’s remarks struck me not only as timely, thoughtful and thought-provoking, but also as profound and bold and inspiring. The cross speaks of love, and our reaction to that voice is also one of love, evoking a living response that is true and kind and respectful, and not that of hateful discourse and destructive partisanship. That’s “good news preaching” if you ask me. Thanks Katie
Thank you, Chad, for your kind words. They mean a lot!
Got this note from my daughter, Carol: “I just now had the chance to listen to Katie’s sermon from last Sunday. You are right! It was really, really meaningful and thoughtfully delivered. Best I’ve heard in awhile.”
